Summit's GIS Facilities

Summit's Data Analysis Department is equipped with industry standard components including: Dell® and Silicon Graphics, Inc.® workstations dedicated solely to GIS analysis and digital image processing, a large format digitizer, and a large format HP plotter.

Summit currently uses ESRI ArcInfo® 8.3, ArcGIS® 8.3, and ArcView® 3.3 for GIS processing and visualization, and ERDAS IMAGINE® for image processing.

Summit's Data Analysis Department is also currently committed to developing applications that work on multiple platforms, including: Palm OS®, Microsoft Windows Pocket PC®, Linux, Mac OS X®, and Unix. Please visit us again to learn about progress in this area.
