State & Federal Environmental Review Documents (EISs, EAs,
EAWs, and EIRs)
Environmental reviews are required to document existing environmental
conditions and the potential environmental consequences associated
with the construction of a proposed project. The environmental
review process is required by both state and federal agencies
and in general includes: Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental
Assessments, and Environmental Assessment Worksheets.
In-depth knowledge of the complexity of environmental issues
and regulations is essential in completing documents required
to assess environmental impacts. In addition, it is necessary
to understand and work within the regulatory framework to provide
needed mitigation measures and attain the appropriate permits
for the project.
