Storage Tank Management
A concern of every owner/operator of aboveground storage tanks
(AST) and underground storage tanks (UST) is the release of stored
product into the environment. Such a release could result in the
disruption of operations, loss of revenues, and lawsuits.
Summit has developed a storage tank management (STM) program
to help our clients through such difficulties. Our staff of environmental
professionals employ their years of experience to develop solutions
to tank release problems. We believe the best approach to a problem
is to effectively communicate with our clients and with local,
state, and federal regulatory agencies on a regular basis. It
is this communication, along with our application of state-of-the-art
technologies, that enables us to complete the project on time
and within budgetary constraints.
Summit ensures project goals are achieved in a cost-effective
manner. Our goal for every project is to assess the nature and
extent of the problem, evaluate alternatives for corrective action,
submit and gain approval of the corrective actions, and implement
the corrective action with the ultimate goal of site closure within
applicable regulations.
